David captured photos which brought out the real
me
He quickly made me feel relaxed about the shoot. Using
my Portfolio I gained a part on an ITV drama series and
was offered places in several theatrical and modelling
agencies.

I've always wanted to have my portraits taken
So when I heard David did them I was really interested.
At first I felt a bit self conscious, as anyone would
with a camera pointed at them, I'm only used to posing
in family/holiday snaps, but David was down to earth and
quickly made me feel at ease, with suggestions of what
to do with my body language and face. I got to change
jackets and muck around with a feather boa, which felt
glamourous and fun!
I spent a good hour modelling and by the end felt like
a professional. Because David uses a digital camera I
got to look at the shots straight after they were taken,
and we could choose to save or delete pictures on the
spot.
David put my pictures on CD, from there I was able to
load them straight onto my Mac and print whichever photo
I wanted. There isnt a single photo I dislike, and there
are many of them I love, I think they capture the way
I look perfectly, and how someone's face can change. Some
photos look like they're are of two different girls. As
a designer I have already incorporated some of the portrait
shots into my own artwork.
Its been one of the best things I've done this year!

I never thought my eyes were so beautiful until David
photographed me!
I am very conscientious when I have my photograph taken
and don't like posing for the camera. But David made me
relax and brought out the feelings of my true nature in
these photos. I've always been told I had a beautiful
smile and my eyes light up when I smile, but never in
a million years did I realise that my eyes smiled too
when I smile, and David managed to capture this superbly
with his lenses!
Since having my photographs taken, I have had positive
feedback from friends, family and the public emphasizing
how spectacular they are, and have also been offered to
pose for one men's magazine, and also to play a Queen
costume at the Nottinghill Carnival. I am not one for
great self-confidence, but its now on the increase!

Initially when I wanted to have some photos taken
the subjects were to be canine and equine only as I have
never been keen on having my own photo taken.
When it came to
doing the shoot David was great. He was relaxed and comfortable
with the animals, which in turn were happy to 'pose' for
him. I was encouraged to be in some of the shots and,
despite myself, I found it to be fun and enjoyed the whole
experience enormously.
The photos from the shoot are great. There are some
lovely shots of the horses and my dog but there are
photos including me, which I like as well! In fact my
favourite shot of them all, if I had to choose, is of
me on one of the horses, it's a great shot and I love
it to bits.
Subsequently when work informed me they needed a picture
of me to go in one of the magazines, as I work for a
publisher, I was able to hand one over that I am more
than happy with and I am looking forward to seeing it
in the magazine.
A big thank you David :-)
